Terms of Service

1. The product

walkai-talkai is a macOS menu bar application (Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or later) that bridges a two-way radio to AI agents. By buying, downloading or using it you agree to these terms.

2. License

• You receive a lifetime, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on one Mac at a time, together with free updates.
• To move the license to another Mac, remove it on the first Mac and activate it on the new one.
• You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute the app or your license key, or circumvent or tamper with the licensing mechanism.
• The app verifies the license online from time to time and keeps working offline for up to 14 days between verifications.

3. Purchase, payment and taxes

• Orders are processed by Stripe, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Stripe is the seller of record: it charges your payment method and issues your receipt.
• Prices shown on the site exclude tax. Stripe calculates, collects and remits any sales tax, VAT or similar tax that applies to your order, based on your location at checkout, and adds it to the total you pay.
• walkai-talkai provides the software, the license and customer support. For questions about your license, activation or the app, write to [email protected]; questions about a charge or receipt can come to us too and we will help or point you to Stripe.
• Refunds follow the Refund Policy and are paid out by Stripe to your original payment method.

4. Radio use is your responsibility

You are responsible for operating radio equipment in accordance with the laws and licensing rules that apply to you, including frequencies, power, identification and content. walkai-talkai does not provide legal or regulatory advice and is not a substitute for any required radio license or training.

5. AI and automation

• AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review what your agents do.
• The app can type text into other applications and press Enter on your behalf. You are responsible for the commands you give and for the actions that result.
• Do not rely on walkai-talkai for safety-critical, medical, emergency or life-support purposes.
• Third-party services you connect (AI providers, models, networks) are governed by their own terms and charges, which are your responsibility.

6. Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation and speech-recognition accuracy.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

We may revoke a license that is refunded, charged back or used in breach of these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by removing it from your Mac.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
